Angela Merkel's building also consists of a meeting room where she can discuss matters with other politicians, an office where employees can work and a space for herself.


I have added a podium at the top of the building where she can address reporters or other politicians on political matters, there is a lift that allows her to travel from the bridge to the top of the building.









Mirander Kerr's building consists of 3 spaces, a space where she can relax and clear her mind before heading onto the runway, the space where she prepares for the fashion show and the walk in wardrobe where all the clothes and shoes are kept.



The walk-in-wardrobe is located under the runway, there is a lift that rises from the wardrobe to the runway above.






Mirander Kerr building incorporates a catwalk runway for her and her clients, as she is a fashion model and the face of David Jones and she is one of the Victoria Secrets angel.

I have decided instead of making my lift and bridge separate, i will turn my bridge into the lift itself like a draw bridge. As the bridge lowers the counter weights rise.

I was born two months prematurely and was placed in an incubator. The practice at the time was to pump a large amount of oxygen into the incubator, something doctors have since learned to be extremely cautious about. But as a result, I lost my sight. I was sent to a state school for the blind, but I flunked first grade because Braille just didn't make any sense to me. Words were a weird concept for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu managed to anger German Chancellor Angela Merkel, too, after his office gave the media details of a phone conversation between the two leaders on construction in East Jerusalem. Merkel said that Netanyahu had "used" her and undermined her trust in him. The Victoria's Secret beauty has lent her support to The Daily Telegraph's I Promise crusade, which encourages motorists Down Under to drive with care. Merkel and Netanyahu spoke last Saturday, several hours after the phone call in which U.S. Secretary State Hillary Clinton reprimanded the prime minister. A senior German source who requested anonymity said Merkel had called Netanyahu after a request from the White House. The Americans requested her involvement to stress that it was not only the United States that disagreed with the construction in East Jerusalem's Ramat Shlomo neighborhood. I remember being hit and slapped. And you act all that in. All rage is anger that is acted in, bottled in for so long that it just pops out. Helen had it harder. She was both blind and deaf. Haaretz has learned that the conversation between Merkel and Netanyahu was very tense, no less than the one with Clinton. Merkel said, Nonetheless, several hours after the phone conversation, during a briefing at the Prime Minister's Bureau, reporters were told that Helen Keller can say the word see. I can speak the language of the sighted. That's part of the first great achievement She says, "I lost a loved one in a car accident and it is something that has shaped the way I appreciate life and how quickly it can be taken away. Merkel, considered one of Israel's staunchest supporters did not want news of the telephone conversation to be released, Helen Keller was less than two years old when she came down with a fever. It struck dramatically and left her unconscious. The fever went just as suddenly. But she was blinded and, very soon after, deaf. As she grew up, she managed to learn to do tiny errands, but she also realized that she was missing something "Merkel was angry especially because she felt that Netanyahu had used her for his needs,"
And it's a cause close to Kerr's heart - as she was left devastated when a close friend died in a road collision. Nonetheless, several hours after the phone conversation, during a briefing at the Prime Minister's Bureau, reporters were told that Netanyahu had called Merkel and explained to her the details behind the announcement of the construction plans, the briefing, the Israelis made clear that "Every time we get in the car we are risking our lives but life is for living and I try my best to not live in fear.".

Erika Kruger Reflection

Looking through Erika Kruger's work i found that shadows are not just an area where direct light from a light source can not reach due to an obstruction of a object.The image above shows that shadows can change the appearance of the whole building.

Reflection on my own work, i never think about how the shadows of an object will affect the appearance as a whole. I immediately skip the experimental phase and jump straight into fabricating the object as accurately as possible, i am always thinking whether the building is structurally stable and therefore i tend to think about making the object linear and clean cut.

As Shaowen suggested, i need to free myself from the structural constraints that i have learn from studying in TAFE and add more imagination into formalistic and aesthetic aspect of design and concerntrate more on the relationship between spaces.
